ST552 | ANALOG TAPE EMULATOR

Analog Realistic Tape Emulation

The ST552 is an Analog Tape Emulator dedicated to professional music producers and studio engineers.

The ST5552 accurately emulates the saturation of the Reel-to-Reel studio recorder adding colour and analog harmonics to your music production.

The 30/15 IPS modes are designed to mimic the LF resonance of the tape at the different feed speeds.

The FABRIC circuitry enhances the results produced by the ST552 Tape Emulator adding the harmonics and the final touch to the processed music material.

The ST552 is easy to use, and intuitive controls make tracking, reamping, or mastering a quick and satisfying job.

The FABRIC Harmonics Generator

In addition to the tape emulator, the ST552 is equipped with HRK proprietary FABRIC harmonics generator.

The FABRIC adds the combination of 2nd and 3rd harmonics to enhance the results of the tape emulator circuitry.

The BLUE mode produces transformer-like harmonics and if used in a moderate amount it will add a magic touch to your tracks.

The RED mode is flat and amplifies midrange harmonics producing the tonal response of a mixing desk.

Each mode can be used creatively to achieve unconventional tonal results.
